Northsiders reflect on an extra special Juneteenth
The experience of writing for North News not only revealed my aptitude for news reporting and journalism but also ignited a passion within me. It awakened a desire to uncover untold stories, challenge the status quo, and champion the voices of marginalized communities. I realized that journalism could be a powerful tool for advocacy, social justice, and driving positive change. Writing for North News became more than just a job; it became a means of contributing to a greater collective understanding and bringing attention to the stories that truly mattered.
