Bright Sky Project
As a Communications Specialist Intern at YWCA, I got to spearhead and contribute significantly to the visionary project, "Empowerment through Menstrual Products, Stickers of Hope. Recognizing the importance for discreet and accessible support solutions, I championed the integration of the YWCA Domestic Violence resources into a QR code within Tampons. This innovative approach not only delivers crucial resources directly to survivors but also upholds their privacy and dignity. Through my role in this initiative, I not only found a creative outlet but also made tangible contributions towards creating a safe and equitable society for all, in line with the YWCA's mission and my personal dedication to societal betterment. This project stands as a testament to my dedication as a Communications Specialist Intern in creating impactful and compassionate solutions to address critical social challenges.
This PDF houses the QR-linked Sticker of Hope for Domestic Violence Survivors. I designed the layout, and Yvette Johnson-Hegge skillfully crafted the content within the document.
The Sticker of Hope concept was conceptualized by me, and the design was meticulously crafted by Yvette Johnson-Hegge. Together, our collaboration brought to life a powerful symbol aimed at providing hope and support for those affected by domestic violence.
The final product, a tangible embodiment of our dedication to supporting domestic violence survivors, was assembled on P&G Volunteer Day. Notably, P&G furthered our cause by generously donating a pallet of 1000 tampons. This collaboration, where concept met action, underscores the power of collective efforts to make a positive impact in the community. Together, we transformed an idea into a meaningful project, symbolizing hope and empowerment for those in need.
